How are API requests counted?
Each call to /api/intent, /api/mutate, /api/normalize, /api/mathml, or /api/speak counts as one request. Requests that return a 4xx or 5xx error are not counted against your quota.
Can I try before paying?
Yes, the Free tier is always free with 1,000 requests/month. No credit card required. Upgrade any time when you need more capacity.
How do I get my API key?
After payment is confirmed we email you a secure reveal link. Click it to see your key once on the MathVoice site — copy it to a password manager immediately. The key is never stored in plain text anywhere, including in our database. Enterprise customers receive a dedicated onboarding session.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Log in to the billing portal link in your receipt email and cancel with one click. Your API key stays active until the end of the current billing period, then is automatically revoked.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes, we offer a full refund within 14 days of your first payment if MathVoice doesn’t meet your needs. Reach us through the contact form and we’ll process it promptly.
Do you offer educational discounts?
Accredited educational institutions and non-profit disability organizations can request a 50% discount. Use the contact form with your institution name and a brief description of your use case.
